4 - The Shock Arms
The Shock Arms from Đại-Việt in Medieval Period include Three principal and essential Categories :
I) The Category of Heavy Shock Arms holding a Hilt or a Shaft (in order to hold for striking and knocking) includes Eight kinds :
- The Blade-Breaker - The Two Matched Blade-Breakers ;
- The Rigid War Flail - The Two Matched Rigid War Flail ;
- The Unique Battle Axe ;
- The Two Matched Battle Axes ;
- The Great Battle Axes ;
- The Two Matched War Maces ;
- The Great War Maces;
- The War Hammer-Spear.
II) The Category of Light Shock Arms holding a Hilt (in order to hold for striking and projecting) includes One kind :
- The Flying War Maces.
III) The Category of Light Shock Arms holding a Metal Chain (in order in order to hold for projecting and bindind) includes Two kinds :
- The Shooting Star with no handle ;
- The Shooting Star holding a handle.
